Space Sheriff Sharivan 15: The Island of the Sea-Rumbling Device (海鳴りの仕掛島)

We get some Gavan action this week. Madou kidnaps Tsukiko Hoshino, a returning character from Gavan, in order to their hands on her dad’s blueprints from Space Sheriff Gavan. It’s a bit of a bummer that we don’t see Gavan use the suit, I guess it’s only accessible if his ship is in orbit (that’s my head canon). Also, they completely gloss over Kojirou going on a date with her! I never would have expected that ship.

The outfit that one of the Miss Devil’s wears to pick up Gavan is so good.

Otherwise, this episode was a nice change of pace and a little reward for Gavan viewers.

Monster of the Week:

Definitely topical, and the way it can disguise as people seems to be related to its chameleon like design.
